JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recommend modifications to manufacturing processes (Engineering Changes or sketch changes) in conjunction with other engineers in order to improve quality and/or manufacturing cycle times.
Assist with developing solutions to manufacturing process problems and/or new customer requirements.
Develop material/cost analysis comparison between alternative solutions.
Work with other engineers, CAD drafters, manufacturing department supervisors, and technical buyers to develop and/or improve workable manufacturing processes.
Improved quality and/or manufacturing cycle times through ECN"s, sketch changes, and/or program changes.
Material/cost analysis comparison between alternative solutions created as required.
Workable manufacturing processes created in a timely manner (in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineer(s)).
Create CAD sketches for manufacturing operations based on rough sketches provided by Manufacturing Engineer(s)
Create CAD sketches for outside process operations as specified by Manufacturing Engineer(s) and/or Q.C. Department.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
At least 4 years of cnc programming experience
Knowledge of process related standards
Experience in process development with CNC manufacturing background
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Solid Works skills
Aerospace Experience
Excellent technical skill
Excellent analytical skills
