Hormel Foods Century Foods - 2nd shift/Plant 4 Industrial Maintenance Technician in Sparta, Wisconsin
SKILLS REQUIRED
Knowledge and skill of general maintenance tools.
Time management skills.
Basic math skills.
Trouble-shooting skills.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Perform maintenance duties on equipment/buildings safely and productively in order to produce quality products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow and comply with Reliability program.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, and
electrical systems.
- Continuously learn the equipment, processes, and building layouts to improve maintenance
abilities.
- Communicate with the production supervisor and plant manager on product runs,
equipment problems, packaging issues, and potential down time.
Follow all CFI policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Procedures, and ISO9001 procedures.
Comply with all Century Foods and customer operating procedures.
Maintain positive working relationships with supervisor and co-workers.
Assist in all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.
Special Conditions
Working conditions may include working in and around powder dust, cleaning agents, confined space entries, and climbing to high heights.
Normal Shift Hours - 2pm-10pm Tues-Sat OT as necessary
Pay Rate - Based on experience and qualifications (Wage starts at $22.00 to $27.00 + )
Plus $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift Differential
