About the Role
We are searching for an experienced production planner working within a JIS environment to perform the duties described below.
Your Responsibilities
Integrate sales, operations and supplier planning in order to meet the customer demand and effectively use the resources
Long /mid/ short term (JIS) production planning
Capacity (labor, equipment, facilities, material, finance) planning to establish a viable production plan
Production scheduling
Material planning based on the production plan
Inventory management
Provide excellent customer service in order to meet customer expectations
Monitor material availability of finished goods
Capacity verification
Create all related reports and track the timely fulfillment of customer orders
Responsible for customer demand analysis and subsequent production planning
Analyze, plan and manage production control activities to optimally use resources and improve throughput times
Administer relevant documents (scrap sheets, work tickets and etc.)
Inventory and administration of the returnable packaging
Generate all required shipping documents as required
Ensure JIS deliveries of finished goods to the customer
Monitor delivery performance and facilitate the corrective action process as required
Who we are looking for
Experience with SAP preferred
Experience in automotive preferred
Experience working with JIS
Proficient computer skills
Your preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with focus in Logistics or Supply Chain planning preferred
Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience or 3-5 years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
