Salary Range: $64,280 - $90,826 based upon experience.

 

 

Position Overview:

  • This position will be directly responsible for formulating, planning, directing, and building organizational effectiveness for the WA Cares Program and contracted providers. 
  • Promotes, plans, and develops long-term care contracted services for people with disabilities and our aging population.
  • Serves as a lead for solicitation processes to recruit qualified providers for needed services and assure that the services delivered according to contract and legal requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of change that is rooted in building partnerships while supporting impacted groups throughout the change process.
  • This role is critical in ensuring change and improvement initiatives are communicated, supported cross-functionally, and measured to ensure overall success and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Responsible for a broad range of activities designed to ensure our internal processes, change management, and process improvement strategies will build and sustain an effective WA Cares Program.

  • This position is full time at 37.5 hours per week.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities includes the following:

Manages the process, development, mapping, and continuous improvement projects for WA Cares Program for the agency's service region. 

Partner with state and Area Agency on Aging leadership to document processes, develop structures, and implement project plans. 

Advise and recommend appropriate corrective and pre-emptive interventions for WA Cares Program to state and Area Agency on Aging partners, ensuring decisions result from continuous improvement initiatives, analyses, and industry best practices. 

Plans, implements, facilitates strategies and initiatives aimed at building the WA Cares provider network.

Oversees use of variety of data systems, including entering and querying program data and reporting on program outcomes.

Develops, directs, implements action plans to track progress to ensure desired outcomes.

Collaborates, advises, and recommends with cross-agency partners on process development and improvement.
