Humanix Maintenance Tech Paid Intern in Spokane, Washington

Compensation for the Maintenance Tech Intern
- $24 Per Hour
- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8 am -- 5:30 pm
This is a paid summer internship expected to last until September 18, 2024.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Tech Intern
- Must be able to work and communicate with groups and individuals as this position works with several people in different departments of the business
- Willingness to preform mundane or repetitive tasks is a must in this position
- Operate basic hand tools to perform maintenance on a variety of different equipment
Working closely with different techs in different specialties to assist with maintenance
Requirements for the Maintenance Tech Intern
- High School Diploma or GED required -- this WILL BE VERIFIED with educational facility
- Knowledge of basic tools preferred
- Knowledge of handling hazardous chemicals preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety preferred
- Physical Requirements: lift 60 lbs. unassisted, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, prolonged standing, and work in confined spaces
- Exposure to allergens, working in aseptic areas, and exposure to latex must all be tolerated
CANNOT WEAR jewelry (Including wedding bands), perfume/cologne, lotions and/or makeup. Deodorant is allowed
