Job Title: Pension Administrator

Job Description

Independently process pension applications on defined benefit plans, and inquiries on pension benefits. Respond to telephone calls, walk-in visits, and written requests from participants, unions, and Trustees. Prepare and organize appeals. Analyze records and related reports to determine proper action to be taken within the limits of Plan rules. Communicate verbally and in writing to explain and interpret plan procedures and rules. Disburse monthly and/or weekly checks. Balance check registers on a monthly basis. Prepare various trust reports annually and monthly. Implement Plan policies and procedures. Perform other duties within classification as assigned.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Customer service experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SPOKANE, Washington.

Work Environment

8am - 5pm

Compensation

$20 - 21/ hour
