Actalent Process Engineer in Spokane, Washington

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on challenging projects across various industries, including mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing. You will work in a collegial and supportive multi-disciplined team-based environment on projects from initial planning stages through design, construction, and startup operations. You will be responsible for the delivery of industrial engineering design and construction in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.
Responsibilities
Work on challenging projects in the mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries.
Collaborate in a multi-disciplined team-based environment on projects from initial planning stages through design, construction, and startup operations.
Deliver industrial engineering design and construction projects in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.
Perform industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations, bench and pilot testing, and provide engineering services during construction.
Oversee project development and management, including scope, schedule, fee preparation, negotiation, project staffing, and coordination of activities related to planning, design, and construction.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or other related field.
5+ years of engineering experience in planning, engineering, design, construction, and commissioning.
Experience with industrial water, industrial wastewater, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, water/mass balances, or process design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain EIT within one year of employment.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
Experience with computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design applications such as BlueBeam.
Work Environment
This role utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work. You will also spend time at client sites. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00
