Description Senior Food Service Attendant - Dietary Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA Under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, performs essential duties associated with the nutritional care and food service to all patients. Must be able to work compatibly with co-workers and be able to comply with confidentiality, and HIPAA guidelines. Receives patient/caregiver telephone calls for food orders and diet order communication, and accurately inputs all orders into a computer. Assists with the delivery of meals to patients, and supports tray line activities. Accurately and efficiently processes diet orders placed by caregivers through EPIC. Must effectively communicate to patients and caregivers and demonstrate excellent public relations interpersonal skills. Must have a working knowledge of therapeutic diets.
