This position will float between our Burnsville, Edina, St Paul and Woodbury Clinics. As a float position it will also be eligible for a float differential and mileage reimbursement. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes - Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short-term and Long-term Disability Coverage 401k plan that comes with Profit Sharing Wellness program that rewards you practicing a healthy lifestyle Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program and Discount Program to some of your favorite retailers Loacations: Coon Rapids, Fridley Maple Grove, Plymouth, Minneapolis Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices Administration of chemotherapy and other therapeutic drugs Maintains efficient and appropriate patient flow in clinic Facilitates dose modification by assessing patient and labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose and infusing medications and consulting physician regarding dose modifications, problems, and symptom management Assures nursing charges are accurate and complete on charge tickets Acts as a resource for MA and LPN staff Triages patient phone calls as needed and documents relevant information in patient's chart Assesses patient/family needs and provides teaching, instructional materials, and community resource information Cross train in the collaborative nursing area as available Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred Current MN licensure and registration required Current or pending OCN certification preferred Current CPR certification required 2-3 years of nursing experience with IV experience preferred Knowledge of basic computer programs is also required Additional Attributes: Strong desire to learn Flexibility Ability to multi-task Strong Organizational Skills Self-starter Strong Basic Mathematic Skills Dependable Detail-oriented Working Conditions: Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) - The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
