Job Description
A large offshore operator in The Woodlands, TX is looking for a Buyer to join their Supply Chain team. The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for their Gulf of Mexico Operations team. They will work with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules. They will be utilizing SAP Ariba for quoting/buying of goods and services.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a buyer in upstream O&G (either Offshore GOM experience OR operator experience)
5+ years of experience utilizing SAP Ariba (proficiency required)
5+ years of experience issuing PO's
Contract writing or contract negotiating experience null
