Summary:

Physician Recruitment experience & close proximity to ACNW/Springdale campus strongly preferred - In-state travel & occasional out of state travel needed - AAPPR certification preferred

Partner with Arkansas Children's physician recruiting team to build an ongoing robust candidate pipeline through strategic research, database mining, networking and building relationships with other academic graduate medical education programs throughout the US and internet searches. Creative sourcing, identifying active and passive candidates, and generating marketplace knowledge for all AC positions with emphasis on the Northwest campus. Manage online advertising for physician positions.

Serves as a key partner of the Talent Acquisition Team with a primary focus on using creative strategies to drive candidate generation and build a robust candidate pipeline to fill existing positions across a variety of functional areas. Consults with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand position requirements and build out sourcing plans. Proactively identifies and assesses candidates to increase the talent of the Arkansas Children’s team. Provides excellent customer service to applicants and candidates for employment by providing timely sourcing and funneling of applicants to Talent Acquisition Partners. Plans and implements sourcing projects, including AC recruitment events, campus and new graduate recruitment programs, marketing campaigns and proactive candidate communication.

Description

  1. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition Partners and department managers to understand position requirements and build out sourcing plans aligned to available tools and resources in the marketplace.

  2. Sources candidates through passive and active tactics. Activities include, but are not limited to, placing job postings through appropriate job boards, proactively searching for and communicating with candidates, planning recruitment events and facilitating referrals programs.

  3. Collaborates with Marketing and Public Relations to develop and refine branding and marketing content that engages and excites potential candidates to seek Arkansas Children's as the "employer of choice".

  4.   5. Communicates with potential candidates about opportunities with Arkansas Children's, screens candidates for viability, and facilitates the transition from sourcing lead to active candidate.

  6. Stays abreast of candidate sourcing best practices and recommends new sourcing technologies.

  7. Develops and maintains a working knowledge of assigned hospital departments and professions through topic research, job shadowing, and interaction with department managers.

  8. Manages large amounts of sensitive, confidential information concerning personnel, financial, strategic, and business information contained in minutes, letters and other documents. Maintains strict confidentiality concerning all correspondence and job related activities.

  9. Sources candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal databases, job boards, networking, internet searches, etc.). Independently develops and maintains candidate flow supporting a variety of job families.

  10. Produce and maintain metrics, data and analysis measuring the effectiveness of social media recruitment efforts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Team to link sourcing with other recruitment and retention metrics for strategic alignment and decision-making.
