Description
We have an opportunity for a Civil Drafter to join our Community Development team in Springfield. This role will see you provide civil design services within urban development, land development, master planned communities, high-density developments through to major infrastructure projects. Our projects are located locally and throughout the Southeast Queensland region.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include -
Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations
Civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD
Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards
Managing deliverables of a project including quality control and the coordination of drafting staff
Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards
Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded
About you
To be successful you will display –
Demonstrated drafting experience, ideally within a consulting environment
Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD
12D design experience highly regarded
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
