- Under general direction, serves as a Applications Developer/Analyst I for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC).
- Actively participates in the analysis, development, design, coding, testing and documenting of complex projects dealing with offender and juvenile management applications, programs, and systems, using Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services & Entity Framework, JavaScript, .Net, C#, Microsoft Azure, Blazor, Bootstrap, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Interviews and consults with users regarding revisions, maintenance and improvements to existing systems or development of new systems.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in Web Application Technologies and DevOps fields.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
