The Rare Blood Disorders franchise is a patient centric organization responsible for delivering the highest quality education and service regarding disease and treatment.

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to be the trusted resource for hemophilia patients and caregivers within this territory. Our team has the privilege of representing Sanofi within the communities we serve, providing branded and unbranded education and connecting patients to appropriate resources, while upholding the Company’s mission and values.

Job Description: Community Relations & Education Manager (CoRe)-South TX/NMN

Sanofi’s Community Relations & Education Manager is expected to possess a high level of clinical and customer knowledge, have experience with both headquarters’ protocols, and possess drive and spirit to engage the hemophilia community and support patients and caregivers by reducing barriers to therapy. The Community Relations and Education Manager is a field-based role that collaborates with all cross functional partners including sales, marketing, patient support services and home office. You will be responsible for developing and executing territory engagement plans and successfully executing launch strategies to meet / exceed targets within your geographic territory.

The Community Relations and Education Manager will report directly to the Regional Director, Community Relations and Education Managers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Education and Patient Engagement

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with hemophilia patient organizations to identify patient / family needs regarding education

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with hemophilia patients and families in your territory through 1:1 engagement.

  • Engage in on-label conversations on topics such as product, disease state, wellness, and lifestyle education, at appropriate venues

  • Territory Management and Planning

  • Develops, maintains, executes a strategic territory engagement plan to identify local community education needs. Utilizes CRM to manage territory and record activities

  • Serve as a single point of contact for patients and hemophilia patient organizations

  • Execute a customer-centric needs-based approach with patients and hemophilia patient organizations

  • Plan and execute customer engagements at local, regional, and national conferences, field visits and other venues in a compliant manner

  • Act as liaison to provide timely field insights into the creation of new strategies and tactics.

  • Facilitates cross-functional planning and collaboration with Case Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Therapeutic Education Managers, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Public Affairs and Market Access as appropriate to ensure consistent integrated implementation of strategies and tactics

  • Lead planning, execution and pull-through of branded and unbranded programs

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrate ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders, using the Sanofi approved customer dialogue framework to position current customer needs appropriately and with a high sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct formal and informal presentations on hemophilia and branded information fluently to the hemophilia community, in a professional and compliant manner.

  • Provide key market insights and field feedback in a timely manner to home office.

  • Ensures compliance with Sanofi policies

  • Must be proficient in English and Spanish

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Willingness and ability to work outside of traditional business hours (many hemophilia events take place in the evenings and on weekend

  • The ability to travel up to 80%

  • Valid driver's license

  • Language requirements: English required and bilingual preferred

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with educating patients and caregivers with rare/chronic conditions

  • Should reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated industry success or 5+ years clinical experience such as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist and/or Social Worker.

  • Hematology and launch experience

  • Advanced degree in science, business, nursing

  • Industry experience

  • Experience working with specialty pharmacies
