FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER

Remote and/or On-Site options available

Springfield, Columbia, St. Louis, Kansas City, Independence, Sedalia, Branson, and more

The Finance Business Partner will work with regional leadership to provide data and analysis that drives business decisions. Projects will include implementations and advanced analysis of assigned programs. You will interface with operations and contribute an advanced knowledge of GAAP to our team. As a Finance Business Partner, you should have superior organizational skills and be able to build relationships and work well within all levels of the organization. This key position will also have opportunity to work in other areas of our growing finance department such as Merger/Acquisitions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operations, analyzing assigned regions and driving monthly and annual forecasting and budgeting processes

  • Research and guide proper GAAP accounting treatment for new programs

  • Review monthly financials for assigned area, collaborating with general ledger team on questions/corrections needed before close

  • Present and report to stakeholders; provide recommendations to Finance and Operational leadership on process improvement

  • Lead other major financial related projects in areas such as software implementations and financial management of new programs.

  • Provide insight – use business data to assess the existing decisions and identify areas for improvement

  • Influence and impact – help regional leaders understand and consider the broader financial implications of decisions

What you will bring:

You’ll bring a positive attitude with a vast amount of knowledge in GAAP, finance/accounting and financial planning and analysis. You’ll have a passion for process improvement and be able to connect with and lead other team members and share your knowledge. Flexibility is key as we expand to support our growing organization and mission.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required.

  • At least 5 years progressive experience in the finance/accounting field.

  • Experience with mergers/acquisitions and large organizations a plus.
