Job Title: Press Setup Operator
Job Description
Set up and run large and small automatic and manual presses using a wide variety of dies and different types of materials, stamping required piece parts.
Hard Skills
Set up and run automatic and manual presses
Adjust servo for proper material height
Load material onto unwind stand and run through material straightener
Pull material coils up to 800 lbs.
Adjust and mount safety equipment
Maintain SPC Data sheets
Check piece parts for proper dimensions
Maintain equipment by checking oil levels, greasing, and inspecting for wear
Run in-die tapping dies and check threads using gages and pins
Utilize pallet jack, hydraulic forklift, and other related equipment
