The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Financial Systems Analyst / Systems Accountant to support the NGA's FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ) in Springfield, VA. In this role, you will support the optimization of financial data processes across the NGA enterprise, ensuring efficient data management, analysis, and system enhancements. Your responsibilities will include developing financial requirements, supporting core financial systems, and ensuring compliance with federal financial management standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in financial management operations and program resource allocations.
Supports the Geospatial Intelligence Financials (GEO-F) and Organization Requirements and Budgeting Information Tool (ORBIT) systems, including future enhancements
Develop and maintain financial system documentation and training materials.
Participate in system engineering and technical meetings to resolve issues quickly.
Develop IV&V testing processes to validate financial results prior to implementing system enhancements with NGA’s Core Financial Systems
Coordinate with security organizations for certification and accreditation activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Active TS/SCI, CI polygraph preferred
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, Economics
8 years of total experience in assessing federal financial business processes, developing financial systems options, and implementing system solution to include demonstrated experience with federal financial management including all aspects of programming, planning, budgeting, execution and/or accounting
Desired Skills & Qualifications
2 years of demonstrated experience conducting analyses in Momentum Financials that may involve complex technical parameters, acquisition and technical requirements, procurement and business principles, and similar cost-influencing factors
2 years of demonstrated experience with Momentum software lifecycle management activities that may include requirements gathering via process assessment, development and maintenance of configuration management, system testing supporting Momentum-based financial system upgrade and enhancements
1 years demonstrated experience resolving FISCAM audit Notification of Findings & Recommendations (NFR)
1 years demonstrated experience performing SAR reviews on SSAE 18
