Kelly Services Accounts Receivable Clerk in St Catharines, Ontario

Accounts Receivable & Administration Specialist:

Full-time

Permanent

$55k per year

We are currently seeking a motivated, and experienced Accounts Receivable & Administration Specialist that is responsible for conducting all Accounts Receivable and Collection functions, administering bi-weekly Payroll, performing a portion of the Accounts Payable functions as well as other administrative duties as needed. This is a critical role within the organization that interacts with many departments within the company and allows for a unique opportunity to gain exposure and experience across the company. The Company is a long-established leading provider of screening and pelletizing systems, serving primarily the North American and Australian Mining and Aggregate markets. The company’s mission is to deliver the best of these technologies to customers in the mining, minerals, aggregates, construction materials, fertilizers, and salt industries through a complete portfolio of innovative mineral processing technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, be detail-oriented, comfortable working with Excel and SAP accounting software, have a general understanding of accounting and administrative principles, and demonstrates effective organizational skills while building great working relationships with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, reviewing, and distributing customer invoices, credit notes, and statements,

• Recording customer payments, and preparing bank deposits with a high degree of accuracy,

• Maintaining current receivable accounts, investigating, and resolving any outstanding balances,

• Contacting customers via phone and email to collect payment on past-due receivable balances,

• Working with a collection agency to collect on unpaid receivables,

• Providing exceptional customer service by responding to Customer and Customer Service Staff inquiries and resolving invoice discrepancies.

• Developing sound credit policies, performing customer credit checks, and creating and modifying customer profiles within SAP,

• Recording journal entries within SAP using various currencies and reconciling payments to customer accounts.

• Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met
