PeopleReady of St. Catharines, ON is now hiring General Labour / Lumpers! Our reputable retail store clients are based all throughout the Niagara Region, we service many retail locations from big box stores to smaller independent businesses. Our clients require passionate, hard working individuals who are willing to assist with the offloading of various products like general store merchandise and millwork. Positions are usually on demand day labour and job locations vary throughout the Niagara Region.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $17.21 / hour with vacation pay
What you'll be doing as a General Labour / Lumper:
Follow health and safety policies and procedures ensuring a safe work environment
Physically loading or unloading materials from trucks
Assisting warehouse operations with related shipping and receiving tasks
Assembly of display merchandise (various display furniture, shelving and racking, etc)
End of shift cleaning/breaking up of boxes and cardboard
Other duties as assigned
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs
Own personal pair of CSA Green Tab steel toe boots required
Experience in using hand tools
Experience in piecing together furniture and display pieces required
Experience in warehouse settings is preferred but not required
Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
General understanding of customer service, principles and practices
