What would I be doing?
The Banquet Set Up Person will set-up assigned banquet events and clean-up of events.
Responsibilities
The Banquet Set Up Person is responsible for checking in with Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager for instructions of the Banquet Event you are assigned to.
Responsible for checking Banquet Event Order (BEO), for proper room set-up and any special instructions.
The Banquet Set Up Person will anticipate guest’s needs, keeping the tables cleared between courses, beverages filled throughout the meal.
Adhere to proper service standards at all times.
The Banquet Set Up Person is responsible for setting banquet rooms that you are assigned to work.
Responsible for cleaning-up the event that you are assigned to work.
The Banquet Set Up Person will do opening and closing side work.
Interact in a professional manner with immediate team members and other department team members.
The Banquet Set Up Person will know the proper way to move and store equipment safely.
Maintain uniform and appearance standards.
The Banquet Set Up Person is responsible for knowing the banquet standards for room set-up.
What are we looking for?
1 year of Banquet set-up experience
Must be able to lift 50-200 lbs. aided
Must be able to read and understand Banquet Event Order set-ups (BEO)
