St Cloud State University Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry in St. Cloud, Minnesota

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry in the College of Science and Engineering (COSE) at St. Cloud State University (SCSU) has an opening for Fixed-Term (Non-tenure track) Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry. The program has 6 full-time chemistry faculty positions and offers American Chemical Society (ACS) and American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) approved undergraduate degree programs. The department is well equipped with major instrumentation and research facilities, including access to the Integrated Science and Engineering Laboratory Facility (ISELF). Primary duties include teaching an introductory-level undergraduate lecture and laboratory course in either general, organic, or biochemistry (as per the candidate s expertise); along with an upper-level inorganic chemistry course. Faculty are expected to teach effectively, conduct scholarly activities or research, continually prepare and study, contribute to student growth and development, and serve the department, university, and community. Instruct courses in varied locations and at varied times, in-person, online or hybrid and in either a semester or accelerated semester schedule.
