NeighborWorks Mountain Country Home Solutions Intake Specialist in ST. GEORGE, Utah

The Intake Specialist reports directly to the Operations Manager. The Specialist will be primarily responsible for all basic office functions including answering incoming calls in a professional manner, procurement of supplies, assisting housing counselor in gathering client information and preparing packets and mailing them to clients. Greeting clients coming into the office in a professional manner and offering the housing counselors any assistance they might need

* * *                       Hours will be approximately 27 hours per week but may be more on occasion.  Hours will only be Monday through Thursday.*

* Responsibilities:*

  • Office Assistant duties including initial contact for clients, answering and routing incoming calls.
  • Scheduling counseling sessions and meetings and taking customer information.
  • Maintaining office equipment and coordination with repair persons as needed
  • Procurement and storage maintenance of office supplies and equipment and mailing of HECM packets.
  • Maintain tidiness of the office including vacuuming etc. as needed.
  • Provide clerical and other support for the Housing Counselors including correspondence, scheduling and other duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:*

  • Computer literate with bookkeeping, typing and other office experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
