Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This job is full time (40 hrs), overtime may be required with little or no notice. This includes work days, holidays, nights and weekends. Carrying a pager and being available for call ins is required on a rotating basis.

Work consists of installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical wiring and devices for Weidmanns buildings and equipment. This includes but is not limited to conduits, motors, starters, VFDs, control panels, process control devices and equipment.

Provides own electricians hand tools. The company will provide the large, more expensive tools.

Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with all OSHA, NEC, State and NFPA 70E and Weidmann regulations.

Keep work area clean and neat. Maintain your work area in accordance with 5S requirements.

Must inform working Lead Person or Plant Engineer whenever problems or safety issues are noticed.

All work will be done in a neat and workman like manner. All fasteners, assemblies and connections will be torqued and installed per the Manufacturers instructions.

Employees in this position will be required to enter confined spaces. Confined Space Entry training is required every three years. All Confined Space entry requirements will be met and all Confined Space entry procedures will be followed.

Work requires working in tight spaces, elevations exceeding 20 from ground and hot and cold environments.

Develop, plan and maintain facilities, processes, production equipment, and tooling to meet the needs of the business.

Develop cost estimate for quotation purposes.

Support of analytical studies as needed.

Produce products and services that meet the defined and anticipated customer expectations.

Attend and complete all required training.

Has the responsibility of understanding and carrying out assigned duties in conformance with customer and business requirements.

Ensures that problems, errors and/or defects that surface in regard to products, documentation, procedures or materials are promptly brought to attention for correction.

Provides support and input for continual improvement projects, preventative and corrective actions.

Has the responsibility to halt or change a process if it is not achieving planned results.

Job Requirements:

1. High School/Trade School Diploma required.

2. Must hold a valid State of Vermont Electrician Journeymans License with a minimum of four (4) years experience with low-voltage (480 volts) wiring, switch gear, electric motors, etc.

3. Must be able to provide own various electricians tools and hand tools.

4. Must be able to obtain fork truck license.

5. Must be able to meet all physical requirements in accordance with the Essential Function Job Analysis.
