College of St Benedict IT Programmer Analyst in St. Joseph, Minnesota

The IT Services Department at the College of Saint Benedict (CSB) and Saint John's University (SJU) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit eligible position of Programmer Analyst. The anticipated start date for this position is after August 1, 2024. We are seeking a creative and result-oriented programmer analyst to join the IT Services team. The Programmer Analyst will play a key role in the modernization of our enterprise software integrations and expansion of our institutional data and analytics initiatives. The Programmer Analyst serves as primary technical support for the CSBSJU student information systems. With the other members of the administrative software team, the Programmer Analyst supports and maintains the enterprise administrative system and all related auxiliary systems. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive technical support, including analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and documentation of CSBSJU student information system (SIS) and ancillary applications. Design and maintain enterprise business intelligence systems, including ad hoc reporting environments, data warehouses, and executive information systems. Serve as the primary technical administrator for the degree audit and planning system. Drive efficiency improvements by automating business processes, streamlining workflows, and modernizing data integrations. Make recommendations and decisions regarding future technology directions within areas of support, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the organization's reputation as a viable business partner.
