The Role
As a Financial Accountant , you will be responsible for several key functions within our wider controllership team. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to advise on CapEx related queries, as well as overseeing audit processes and ensuring accurate reporting on our financial statements. In addition to this, you'll support to deliver timely month-end closes and drive the successful delivery of key finance projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Provide technical accounting advice to our commercial finance teams, tax team and wider business on CAPEX vs OPEX treatment
Act as a key contributor to statutory reporting and external audit process
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, review & lodgment or government reporting
Contribute to the preparation on month-end journals and own ongoing lease maintenance and lease accounting for statutory purpose
Support, coordinate and lead the successful delivery of key finance projects that will deliver instrumental efficiency gains
Provide support on internal control execution, testing and various tax preparation as require
Skills & Experience:
CA or CPA qualification (at least 50% completed)
Minimum 2 years experience at a Big 4 or Large Corporate
Strong knowledge of statutory adjustments, CapEx & Fixed Asset accounting
Understanding and experience with IFRS16
Ability to influence and build relationships across an organisation
Strong technical accounting experience and high attention to detail
Proven ability to use initiative and drive to achieve results
