The Saint Paul Fire Department is looking for a Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and oversee the maintenance and repair of 23 Fire Department buildings. Here s what you can expect to do: Perform supervisory work planning and directing the maintenance and repair of the equipment, grounds, and facilities of the Fire Department. Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance and repair projects, providing management and area supervisors with progress reports and information. Instruct personnel in equipment safety, OSHA regulations, proper disposal of hazardous materials, and best practices. Make personnel decisions including hiring, disciplining, and training staff. Information Specific to this Position: This position is located in the Fire Department Maintenance Building at 676 Bedford Street, St. Paul, MN 55130. The regular work hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. This position is expected to be on call for emergencies at the fire stations/department buildings.
