This position exists to provide analysis, management, and oversight of MDH fleet vehicles and support records and information management activities. These activities include tracking, leasing, and records management. This role serves as a liaison and representative of MDH in efforts to comply with the Department of Administration's Fleet Services and Office of Enterprise Sustainability requirements and provides leadership and technical assistance to program staff in adopting and implementing these requirements.
Working as a Fleet Services Coordinator, you will (includes but not limited to):
Serve as the primary vehicle/lease coordinator for MDH.
Manage MDH fleet operations responsibilities to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures and ensure that the program is administered effectively.
Serve as the payment and procurement coordinator for the MDH fleet. This includes directing and facilitating the purchasing and payment processes in accordance with agency and state policies, procedures and statutes.
Develop and maintain records related to the program that identify status of all participants, vehicle inventory, accident summaries, and other data related to the program.
Provide quarterly/annual reports on vehicle fleet.
This is a hybrid telework position that requires in-office work in the downtown St. Paul location. Telework will be based on the business needs to the unit and is at supervisory discretion.
Minimum Qualifications

One (1) year of experience performing administrative and support related tasks and duties. This required experience must include record-keeping/records management related to equipment (such as a fleet of vehicles).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to be assessed during the interview process:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Communication skills sufficient to convey information to others.
Ability to get in/out of vehicles and drive them to appointments for oil changes and/or maintenance.
A related degree may substitute for experience as follows: Doctorate degree may substitute for two years of experience; master’s degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of experience; associate degree may substitute for six months of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, which may include SharePoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Prior experience managing vehicle fleet services such as record or maintenance performed on vehicles, or coordination of vehicle procurement.
Physical Requirements
Requires positioning self to clean or inspect the interior of vehicles and occasional transporting of heavy objects or equipment across a building.

This employment requires a valid driver's license, and minimal travel is required.
