This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and has the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.

The purpose of this position is to lead MnDOT’s agencywide Microsoft 365 program including creating new policy, new processes, establish support and training, provide expertise, and provide agency guidance on using the Microsoft 365 suite of applications (M365) and assist with MnDOT’s agencywide electronic document management system of record (eDOCS) training and support.

This position leads the efforts to determine how these programs interact with other MnDOT programs and ensures alignment, avoiding duplication. Based on customer requests, the incumbent will serve as the program lead and a point of contact for customer support for internal and external (non-MnDOT) users. The incumbent will develop new agency wide policies and procedures, analyze customer needs, objectives, and the quality of the programs. The incumbent will also help to design, develop, measure, and deliver training to customers agency wide.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of advanced professional experience in the following areas:

  • Experience researching, analyzing, data analysis creating, testing and deploying Electronic Document Management System and the policies and laws that govern it;

  • Experience training on Microsoft 365 application suite of products including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) sufficient to serve as the agency systems expert;

  • Experience with reviewing and consulting on accessibility of documents and electronic content;

  • Experience creating adult learning training plans, training materials, templates, memos, and other technical related documents;

  • Experience creating presentations and presenting;

  • Ability to lead others, mentor and coach section staff;

  • Experience with project management.
