Regions Hospital Mammography and Breast Ultrasound Technologist Specialist in St. Paul, Minnesota

The at Regions Hospital has an opening for a Mammography and Breast Ultrasound Technologist Specialist. Our Breast Health Center performs diagnostic work, breast ultrasounds, and procedures which include biopsies and seed placements to help in the diagnosis of breast cancer or other breast health problems. These exams require independent judgment and initiative, and you will work with patients of all cultures and physical conditions. Technologists get a variety of experiences and work closely under the direction of our Radiologists. We are a small dedicated team that enjoys working together, and also offers education reimbursement toward continuing education! Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift. No weekends and closed on all major holidays. Required Qualifications: Completion of an AMA-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or the Canadian equivalent, plus completion of a mammography training program. Radiologic technologist with two years of mammography experience. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and have obtained Mammography Board (and must sit for Breast Ultrasound Board Certification within two years of hire). BLS certification from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program on or before the first day of employment. Preferred Qualifications: Three years of experience in a Breast Imaging Center. Breast Ultrasound Board Certification. Additional Information: This is a non-union 0.6 FTE (24 hours per pay period) day shift position, working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $39.27-$54.43 per hour, based on experience. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
