JOB SUMMARY: Seeking a dedicated Network Administrator to join our team and provide critical support to our network operations. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and optimization of our network infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient network performance. This role involves working closely with senior engineers, providing essential support in troubleshooting, configuration, and administration tasks. This role will also assist in the configuration and deployment of network equipment to remote sites. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Maintains network performance by participating in network performance analysis and capacity planning. Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access. Works directly with 3rd party service providers to provide overall management of the quality of services being provided. Configure, install and maintain Cisco switches, APs and Barracuda Firewalls. Assist with ISP aggregation ongoing projects. Assist with integration of new branches being onboarded. Work autonomously on network infrastructure roll out. Serve as an on-call function for any infrastructure/Network outages and issues. Configure network gear autonomously. Document in Visio and Excel all network IP schemes and topologies by branch. Asset life cycle management - Proactively check for EOL on existing infrastructure, plan, and replace. Proactively watch for network outages and work them immediately as they come in. Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality. Perform routine network maintenance and updates, including software upgrades and patch management. Support in the implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Respond to network-related incidents and provide Level 2 support for network issues, escalating to senior engineers as necessary. Assist in maintaining and updating network docu entation, including diagrams, configurations, and processes. This includes conducting IP address auditing. Collaborate with senior network engineers to implement network enhancements and improvements. Provide support for network-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion. Assist in training and mentoring support staff. Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, required, or equivalent work experience. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: 5 years network administration experience required. Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Familiarity with network security principles and best practices. Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or similar are a plus. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize, preferred. Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. Systems and Software Skills: Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst IOS, Aruba, Site to Site tunnels, Barracuda Firewall, L3 experience, Meraki Aps, Radius Authentication, Cate5e, and Cat6 termination. Other Qualifications: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Must be able to comply with SFPH's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement Occasional travel required, up to 25%.
