Description JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to support the operation of the Office of Campus Safety by providing administrative, supervisory and office management support. The position provides direct assistance to the department's Director, Assistant Directors, Campus Safety Officers, and student employees. Employment Type: Full-time (flexibility for this to be an 11 - 12 month position), Benefits-Eligible, Non-exempt (Hourly) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all communications and office workflow for Campus Safety Department. Develop and maintain office paperwork and manage record systems. Conduct daily reporting requirements: including XLT notifications, daily incident report log postings in office and online, and incident report processing. Assist the Director with preparing the department's annual security and fire safety reporting document, in accordance with the Federal Clery Act. Supervise student office assistants and the student Dispatch program. Manage student employment payroll. Developing and managing training materials, following up with student employees and supervisors to address issues, scheduling, and conducting dispatch training. Manage the documentation of department's operational budget. Create RFP's, reconcile department credit card statements, and handle department purchases. Collaborate with Facilities on the issuing and tracking of campus keys. Manage the processing of all parking information including parking permits registrations, permit and citation billing, and tracking of citations and appeals. Responsible for campus-wide lost and found program. Provide support for Behavioral Assessment Team, Emergency Communications Team, and is the Department representative on the Staff Personnel Committee, and other groups/committees upon request. Provide support to Director and Assistant Director in the event of campus emergencies. Contribute to a favorable working climate within the College through a friendly manner and cooperative attitude in deadlines with other employees, faculty, students, and visitors. Maintain confidentiality of records and departmental contacts. Assume responsibility to become familiar with and operate computer programs to facilitate all documentation in a timely manner. The position is designated as weather- or emergency-essential. In the event of a closure of the College, it is vital that you report to work if scheduled. All other duties as assigned.
