This is a 1st shift position (M-F 7am - 3:30pm), offering qualified candidates $25-$30/hour with overtime during production peaks. Apply NOW! Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine corrective actions by consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed.

• Repair production equipment and plant utility systems, including troubleshooting complex high-speed filling equipment and making adjustments to automated presses, printers, molding equipment, and other machinery.

• Experience with Boiler maintenance is a plus.

• Ensure the proper operation of electrical and mechanical components and devices, such as push buttons, switches, timers, solenoids, electrical disconnects, AC and DC motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

• Troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly, ensure efficient operation of building systems, and maintain the physical condition of facilities.

• Clean and lubricate machinery parts, including shafts, bearings, and gears.

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

• Reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, reducers, molds, and pumps.

• Install and run various types of piping, including black iron, copper, PVC, flexible tubing, and electrical conduit.

• Install various components, including seals, bearings, O-rings, gaskets, adhesives, belts, chains, rollers, sprockets, gears, and sheaves.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.

• Fabricate parts from blueprints, weld carbon steel and aluminum, and create guards from sheet metal and Lexan. Cut metal using plasma cutters or torches.

• Wire, repair, and install electric motors; handle basic wiring repairs and replace lighting fixtures and lamps; size fuses, motor overload protection, and wire according to the National Electric Code (NEC); read and wire from electrical schematics; and use electrical and precision tools to complete tasks.

• Maintain and troubleshoot AC drive systems and PLCs within the plant.

• Must adhere to strict safety rules and regulations.

• Must be able to work well independently and within a group.

Responsibilities

Perform work involving multi- crafted maintenance skill sets which include mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and the building in repair. Duties involve repairing mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairs of building structure. Ensure proper operation of electrical / mechanical components and devices (push buttons, switches, timers, solenoids, electrical disconnects, AC and DC motors, pneumatics, hydraulics) Fabricate parts directly from blueprints; weld carbon steel and aluminum; fabricate guards, etc. out of sheet metal and Lexan; cutting of metal with a plasma cutter or torch.

• standing for 9 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
