We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence. Job Summary: The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a high standard of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, operational acumen, and a focus on team development to create a positive work environment. The Manager will also handle daily bookkeeping tasks and take responsibility for the training and supervision of front-of-the-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management: - Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Executive Chef and suppliers for food and beverage needs. - Implement and maintain health and safety standards in accordance with regulations. - Ensure facilities and property are properly maintained - Oversee Housekeeping 2. Team Leadership and Training: - Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-the-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive and productive work environment. - Conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about menu items, service standards, and health regulations. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff, promoting professional growth. - Schedule and manage front-of-the-house staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. 3. Customer Service: - Greet guests and ensure exceptional service throughout their dining experience. - Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. - Collect feedback and implement changes to enhance customer satisfaction. 4. Financial Management: - Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals. - Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records. - Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording sales, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling cash drawers. - Analyze sales reports and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations. 5. Marketing and Promotion: - Develop promotional campaigns and events. - Maintain an active presence in the local community to attract new customers. - Utilize social media and online platforms to engage with customers and promote the restaurant. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role. - Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety and hygiene standards. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively train and supervise staff. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial management; experience with accounting software is a plus. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education: - Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Compensation: Salary range $50,00-$55,000 commensurate with experience; health insurance available; month of September off.
