ADP Finance Intern in Staines, United Kingdom

We’re looking for enthusiastic students undertaking a placement year as part of their bachelors degree to join us for a 12-month paid internship in September.

Location: Our Staines Office – 2 Causeway Park, The Causeway, Staines-Upon-Thames, TW18 3BF United Kingdom

Hybrid working: 3 days in office & 2 days from home

Start date: 2nd September 2024

If you are looking to explore the world of Finance and build real-life experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Accounts, Financial policies and procedures then this internship is for you.

Please note: you must be based within a commutable distance to our Staines office. We are unable to consider anyone on a visa and do not provide sponsorship.

THINGS YOU'LL DO:

  • Assist in preparing monthly reports, and reviewing financial performance

  • Support FP&A team throughout Forecast/Budget process

  • Review and analyse financial data building historic trends

  • Participate in meetings with external auditors and tax advisers

  • Assist with the annual audit & month end related tasks.

  • Post journals and gain experience working with an ERP business system (Oracle)

  • Prepare sound balance sheet reconciliations and support for all UK Managed entities as required

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Have an interest in Finance/Accounting

  • Willing to learn and have a positive attitude

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Motivated to succeed, with a proactive approach to getting things done

  • Proficent in Microsoft Excel

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate within any of the following disciplines: Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Maths
