Description
Robert Half is looking for a talented Senior Level Desktop Support Technician who is able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easily understandable and concise format for a company in the Financial Services industry. Problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment may succeed this Desktop Support Technician role. Located in the Stamford area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature.
Key responsibilities
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Requirements
Experience providing white glove support to C Level executives
-Windows support experience
-Trading Floor support experience
Strong familiarity with PC Hardware
Command of PC desktop/workstations
Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
Desktop support or related experience
