Essentia Health Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Care Supervisor in Staples, Minnesota

Job Description:

What you'll get to do in this role:

  • Provide oversight of the daily operations of the assigned department including staffing and developing/implementing workflows and processes as well as provides input to the leader regarding policies, procedures, systems, and operating budgets.

  • Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy.

  • May perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient’s health and respond to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family’s self-management skills.

  • Support continuous quality improvement efforts in order to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

  • Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.

  • 2 year’s nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.

Pay Range

$77771 - $116667 / year

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
