Eaton Corporation Technical Specialist in Stavanger, Norway
What you’ll do:
As a Technical Specialist you will be responsible for managing technical and project inquiries of EX power distribution systems (ETO) and configured products for the Nordics region with focus on the Norwegian offshore market, supporting our Nordic customers and sales organization on technical issues, entering product orders in SAP as well as coordinating deliveries of products with our CEAG factories. In your future role as a Technical Specialist in our Customer Service department you will be provided with a clearly defined development plan with the opportunity to develop into a people management role.
Specifying and quoting offers for EX distribution panels.
Ensure all enquiries, quotations and orders are conducted in accordance with internal processes and Eaton trade policies.
Provide technical support to the hazardous area electrical sector for specialist equipment including control and distribution products.
Support Field Sales with identifying Sales opportunities through pro-active CRM (C360) management
Work in collaboration with key departments within the business such as technical, quality and operations to solve problems and provide customer approved solutions in adequate timescales with regard to both quality and delivery performance.
Close collaboration with customers to serve their needs and keep them informed about current technologies and product releases.
Standard report preparation and ensure SAP System and Master data is kept up to date and orders fully reflect the customer requirements regarding delivery and documentation.
Identify and implement methods to continually improve departmental cycle and quality of output.
Qualifications:
Certificate in Electrical engineering or comparable Electrical education
Relevant work experience
Broad understanding of technology within the area of expertise (EX electrical panels for hazardous applications)
Extensive experience in a customer-oriented job.
Excellent Project Management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Norwegian language skills required, Strong English language skills (oral and written).
Good computer skills (SAP, MS Office, MS Excel, CRM system)
Highly effective communication skills
Well-organized, responsible, and ethical
A team player with high level of dedication
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
