Field Brothers Farms Agricultural Equipment Operators in Stephen, Minnesota

Need 11 full time, temporary, seasonal, Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Stephen, MN. From: 09/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day 8:00am-5:00pm. Hours may vary during different times of the crop season. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time) Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 10/17/2024 JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery, plant, cultivate, harvest, and store grain crops of corn, soybeans, spring wheat, and sugar beets. Attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment, drive/operate self-propelled combine to harvest crops. General service and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Crops: Corn, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sugar Beats JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen/criminal background post-hire at employers expense due to expensive tools and equipment. No High School Diploma/GED required. All work related tools, supplies and equipment will be provided to worker at no cost. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
