Adecco US, Inc. 2nd Shift CNC Operator in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Adecco is currently looking for CNC Machinists to join our team in the Sterling Heights, Michigan area on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate is someone who has been a CNC Machine Operator and works well in a busy environment. Job Summary: The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machinery to produce precision metal and nonmetal parts following specific blueprints and guidelines. They must pay close attention to detail and work under minimal supervision to ensure high-quality output.

Skill Requirements Must-Have:

  • CNC Machinist proficiency including set-ups, change overs, etc.

  • Experience with 5-axis , Turning , and Milling

  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints

  • Skilled with precision measurement tools

  • Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets ( MSDS )

  • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

Skill Education

  • CNC : Computer Numerical Control (CNC) refers to the automated control of machining tools by means of a computer. CNC machinery can produce parts with high precision.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.

  • Demonstrates high quality work and detail oriented.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands with PPE to pick up and move parts.

  • Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and smell.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
