Job Title: Information Systems Security ManagerJob Description
As the principal information assurance professional, the Information System Security Manager maintains the security posture of an accredited DoD system. This role involves providing guidance to ISSOs, IT team members, and the system owner to minimize organizational risks. Responsibilities include composing, distributing, and executing local policies and procedures in compliance with DoD RMF controls, such as vulnerability management, POA&M management, and incident response. Additionally, the manager will advise on changes impacting system security, prepare and submit system security plans, and serve as the primary external point of contact for the lab network's accreditation.
Hard Skills

Strong familiarity with NIST publications
Understanding of common operating systems, network technologies, risk management frameworks, and security tools
Certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, CCISO, HCISPP
