Emerson Marketing Manager, Americas in Sterling Heights, Michigan

If you are a strategic, growth focused, and commercially oriented business professional looking for a new opportunity, Emerson has an exciting role for you within our Branson Ultrasonics business! The Americas Marketing Manager is responsible for driving new product introductions, strategic pricing, market research, competitive analysis, and growth program leadership/support across the Branson portfolio for the Americas region. To be successful, the Americas Marketing Manager must be committed to driving growth initiatives, developing technical expertise of our portfolio and comfortable driving results in a matrixed environment.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead the New Product Introductions in the Americas region, as well as provide feedback and requirements into the New Product Development process.

• Develop and implement strategic pricing and growth programs in-concert with sales, operations, finance, and leadership.

• Perform regular business analysis related to orders, sales, and profitability – synthesizing the data and developing recommendations out of it.

• Improve our market research through in-person and digital venues.

• Lead the pricing updates and processes for the Americas.

• Proactively expand technical and application knowledge, develop a strong understanding of our technology and how our customers apply it.

• Routinely conduct competitive analysis.

• Support and lead portions of the strategic planning process.

• Other duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or the equivalent training

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business, preferably in a business-to-business sales environment and in the industrial/manufacturing market

• Technical knowledge in electrical or mechanical industries

• Willingness to travel (up to 25%), both domestic and international
