Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with direct experience in Quality Inspection. In this role, you will be responsible for the final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components, ensuring they meet customer criteria for acceptability.
Responsibilities
Perform final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components alongside another inspector.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using required gaging and measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers.
Measure various features and holes on parts or components to determine if they meet customer requirements.
Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to understand customer specifications.
Ensure all inspected parts meet customer criteria for acceptability.
Complete required paperwork for defective parts or those needing re-work.
Essential Skills
Quality Inspection (this title must be on the resume).
Ability to read and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges in daily responsibilities.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs daily and squat (not twist) to lift parts occasionally.
Availability for overtime, up to 8 hours per week, and willingness to work the last two Saturdays of the month.
Steel-toed boots (employee must provide).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Aerospace experience is a plus.
