Actalent BIM Coordinator in Sterling, Virginia
Overview: Join our client’s dynamic design team as an Electrical Revit Drafter. Due to significant growth, they are seeking a skilled drafter to manage the increasing workload of their large data center projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing red lines and markups and producing construction drawings for electrical projects, primarily using Revit.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute red lines and markups on construction drawings.
Produce precise construction documents for electrical projects.
Collaborate with the Prefabrication Manager and Project Coordinator to create prefabrication shop drawings.
Develop cross-sections of underground conduits and cables for fabrication and installation.
Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical floor plans, sections, and elevations.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in creating electrical construction documents.
Expertise in Revit, including creating and manipulating Revit Families and Assemblies.
Experience with redlines, markups, and producing construction documents.
Ability to coordinate with other disciplines.
Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of electrical drafting experience.
Field experience is highly preferred.
Experience in prefabrication and BIM modeling.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and 3D coordination.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced construction office with a dedicated and experienced team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00
