Nightwing is seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our digital products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible designs that enhance user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Develop and Conceptualize Design Strategy:

Create a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy that aligns with our product vision and business goals.

Translate user needs and business requirements into innovative design solutions.

UX Design Solutions:

Produce high-quality UX design deliverables, including wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and interactive prototypes.

Ensure consistency and usability across different platforms and devices.

User Research and Testing:

Provide advice and guidance on implementing UX research methodologies and testing activities.

Analyze user behavior, identify pain points, and propose improvements based on data-driven insights.

Accessibility Design:

Demonstrate an understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines.

Create designs that are inclusive and usable by all users, regardless of their abilities.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Adobe Creative Suite, and design systems.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS (including SCSS), and Angular.

Familiarity with JIRA for project management.

Agile/Scrum Process:

Understand and participate in an agile/scrum development process.

Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Effective Communication:

Clearly articulate design decisions to the team.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and work independently when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field.

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
