SERVICE FIRST STAFFING Journeyman Master Plumber in STEVENS POINT, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials Installs piping, fixtures and equipment, such as water heaters, sinks and toilets, piping for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation Assembles fittings and valves for installation Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building Uses saws and pipe cutters and other tools as necessary Installs heating systems Collaborates with customers, contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and employees. Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems Analyses problems and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repairs Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes Writes reports documenting problems and summary of actions taken Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts Oversees other workers, such as apprentices and helpers Maintains a clean job site: picking up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards Loading and unloading trucks and hauling and hoisting materials Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; bringing problems to the attention of the President Qualifications: Valid State of Wisconsin Master or Journeyman plumbing license Valid driver\'s license and good driving record (company van provided) Ability to work independently and follow instructions Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying conditions Physical Demands: Frequent lifting, standing, climbing, and carrying objects Ability to work in various weather conditions with exposure to noise, dust, and moving mechanical parts ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a State of Wisconsin Master or Journeyman license Must possess a valid State of Wisconsin driver\'s license and good MVR. Will be driving company van. No DUIs and limited speeding tickets.
