JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21172 Position Title: Purchasing Agent TTC Title and Code: Procurement Specialist I FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus Supervisor: Inventory Control Supervisor Department: Facility Services Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Facility Services Inventory Control Supervisor, this position is responsible for ordering products for the grounds, maintenance and custodial staff on campus. Keeps up to date on current contracts, proper procurement procedures, and associated documentation. Researches, creates, and solicits simplified bids from third party suppliers in order to provide cost-effective materials and services within the work unit. Serves as a backup to the Inventory Control Supervisor when necessary, particularly in maintaining and ordering appropriate levels of stock. Shift: 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
