WTW Associate Executive Compensation & Board Advisory in Stockholm, Sweden

The Executive Compensation & Board Advisory (ECBA) practice is part of the Work & Rewards segment, and our practice focuses on aligning corporate strategy, mission, vision, and corporate values with executive compensation design. WTW is the global leader in executive compensation consulting, with over 500 consultants worldwide. Our consultancy services are centred around different topics within the ECBA sphere and cover a broad range of disciplines including strategy, corporate governance, performance management, ESG, finance, HR, and psychology. We partner with the client to determine the most suitable solution to these issues.

The Role

As an Executive Compensation and Board Advisory Consultant you will be part of a multinational team, developing business and delivering both regional as well as international projects. You will plan, design, and implement Executive Compensation and incentive programs for both existing and new clients. You will nurture the business network across various business lines and geographies.

Organized as a multinational cluster, we work together as one team of colleagues from Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. As such, our team provides advice regarding (and to) the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Senior Management population of the largest multinational companies in these regions and beyond, providing you with exposure to the largest and most complex companies in diverse industries. Additionally, as a global company we work together with colleagues around the world to support client operating globally. Our practice is a diverse team of both junior and more senior enthusiastic talents, who you’ll get to inspire and be inspired by.

Within different project teams, you will immediately share responsibility for delivering high-quality services and deliverables to our clients. The role offers great opportunities to broaden your network and enhance your project, client and people management skills. Further, there’s room for you to shape the role in a direction of your choosing should you seek to specialize in any ECBA-related topics. Requirements:

  • Experience with consulting at the Board level or working with executive compensation topics (3-6 years).

  • Knowledge of corporate finance, regulatory and accounting requirements in order to design executive compensation plans including equity-based and other long- or short-term incentive plans. Familiarity with special equity and incentive plans is advantageous, but not necessary.

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills and ability to influence senior management and work across all levels of an organization.

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of human resource and financial issues within major global organizations and/or in entrepreneurial environments.

  • Results driven and committed to quality; continuously working to achieve the highest excellence standard.

  • Master’s degree is required.

  • Fluency in English is required, additional local languages in our multi-national cluster are beneficial.

  • Pro-active individual with strong social skills (team player).
