Spinal Solutions, Inc. Orthotic Technician in Stone Mountain, Georgia
Spinal Soluitions Inc. dba OandP Solutions is seeking a self-motivated individual who is interested in making a career in the Orthotic and Prosthetic (OandP) industry. Your responsibilities will include mastering the art of Orthotic device assembly. This will include learning how to fully assemble a Custom rigid spinal orthoses (aka back brace) that is made specifically to fit a patient who has had some type of spinal surgery. In most cases the patient is in a hospital and is waiting for the custom spinal orthoses to be fit by an Orthotist (our client) to be discharged and sent home. We take this responsibility seriously and will do everything in our power to insure that the custom device fits properly and is delivered on time. We will go to great lengths to insure that this happens every single time!
You will learn how to properly grind and polish low density polyethylene plastic. You will learn how to properly assemble all components to the spinal orthosis including straps, hardware, etc. Knowledge and experience using hand power tools a plus.
