Responsibilities
• Maintain site and plant equipment cleanliness to meet and exceed company and customer standards
• Ensure that adequate stocks of cleaning materials and chemicals are maintained
• Ensure that assigned and requested work is completed according to Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Compliance with Company Safety and GMP policies
• Actively participate in the planning and implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) goals
• Must actively participate in all shift communication exchanges
• Attend and participate in all required EDS training
• Participate in training of personnel, but not limited to Sanitation personnel
• Perform titration verification of the daily sanitation process
• Ensure delivery of Sanitation Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to meet the site’s target
• Actively participating in Company improvement meetings
• Maintain GMP and housekeeping
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
• Knowledge of change over process
• Knowledge of SAP, Outlook email
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, scrubbing machines, Genie Boom, and scissor lift (training provided)
• Utilize the Master Cleaning Schedule and the production schedule to plan and complete the required and assigned cleaning tasks
• Knowledge of principles of sanitation
• Ability to work at heights and in a wet environment as required
• High level of communication to interact with various departments and external contractors
• Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), GMPs, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) principles
• Ability to maintain accurate records of all Sanitation tasks completed
• Available for overtime as needed
