The Research Foundation for The State University of New York at Stony Brook Senior Administrative Assistant in Stony Brook, New York

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Five (5) years of full-time experience in an office setting. Experience working with payroll and personnel records. Experience with software application programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint, Zoom, and/or Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the administrative aspects of grants at the institutional and federal levels. Experience with using Wolfmart, Concur Solutions, and/or Talent Management System (TMS).
Experience with using
reference programs such as EndNote.

Brief Description of Duties:
The Senior Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Directors of the Center for Healthy Aging. The selected candidate must be able to multi-task and have excellent organization and communication skills.

Duties:

Support the Directors and grantees of the Center including travel arrangements and reimbursements, maintain busy calendars and meeting schedules.

Perform secretarial and administrative functions in the Center. In addition, incumbents assist in the recruitment and training of staff; coordinate equipment, space, and other resources; compile budget data, and monitor expenditures; and assist in gathering and analyzing data for managerial decisions.

Produce and maintain annual feedback and ROI surveys for all grants.

Assist with new grant applications, grant extensions, RO1 Supplements. Administer all Center grants.

Maintain all Center recruits thro ugh Talent Management System (TMS).

Other duties as assigned.
